Terms & Conditions

All images on this site are copyright of the various contributors.  Currently we can put you directly in touch with individual photographers and other artists.  In the future we will be negotiating on their behalf.  It may be that some images and audio will be copyright of professional media libraries  and in this case please contact us first to determine who owns the copyright and who to contact should you require them for anything else than personal use.

We will endeavour to site your bird-house as soon as we can but this may take longer than a few days depending on the number of bird-houses to be positioned and of course – the English weather!.  Each bird-house is placed in the woodland securely and with care.  As you can imagine we often use high ladders and two of us are generally required to make any placement.  This means that we may wait for two or more bird-boxes to be placed before making the trek (with the appropriate equipment) to the woodland – preferably on a dry day!

Very occasionally there will be times when your chosen bird-house may not available and we will therefore substitute a birdhouse that we have in stock – as close to your chosen bird-house preference as possible.  This is a condition of purchase of your lease.

The lease granted for each bird-house is for a period of one or two years (option on the purchase page) from the time of delivery of your certificate which will show the expiry date. Leases are numbered and your name or that of your named recipient will appear on the certificate.

The Wild Birds – Wildlife, Butterfly and Wildflower pages may contain a number of species that are not found in the specific woodland referred to but are all seen in the UK.  For instance, in the wold flower section you may encounter alpine plants and flowers that are not seen in the Kentish woodland but are more prolific in the Highlands of Scotland.  However, the images shown do give a good indication of what might be found and certainly give a wide cross-section of wildlife, flora & fauna in the UK.  Occasionally wildlife may appear (such as deer) and then not be seen for some time. The same is true for the lake life and fish.  Can’t promise the 70lb Carp!

There may be an occasion when the woodlands as described  will not always be available.  While we would wish to avoid this, the land and woodlands freehold are liable to exchange of ownership from time to time as is normal.  We cannot therefore guarantee that any lease taken out with us can be within the woodland as described and bird houses/other may require to be re-located within a woodland of our choosing.  Situations such as this would of course would be outside our control but we would endeavour to locate bird houses as quickly as we can and find a suitable location within a reasonable time period should this situation occur.
